CBOD GIVES BACK .

Teachers and students of St Kizito R/C School at Nima were all smiles when staff of the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) presented 15 whiteboards and markers worth 4,500 cedis to the school.

This social responsibility was done in collaboration with the Wise Water Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, which seeks to champion and support education in the country.Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the President of Wise Water Foundation, Mr Emmanuel Amarkuaye encouraged the students to work “tirelessly as we live in a world where one can be whatever he wants to be”.

The head of Finance at CBOD, Mr Samuel Arnold-Armah assured the students the doors of his company will always be opened to them. He told the authorities in the school his company is interested in leading the fight for quality education.

The headmaster of the school showed appreciation to the benefactors but also made a request for computers. According to him, the students need to know about computer and its functions during this early stage of their life.
