The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors, Mr. Senyo Hosi has re-echoed his stand on the need for the government to hold people accountable for their mistakes.
He made this statement as he discussed issues arising from the Atomic Junction gas explosion on TV3 New day morning show.
Mr. Hosi expressed disappointment at how the government has over the years handled such accidents, which according to him can be avoided should people be made to take responsibility for their mistakes.
According to him, if people who are put in various positions to ensure the safety of the citizenry are not valuing the lives of the people, then there is a need to worry.
Mr. Hosi believes from the authority which is in charge of overseeing where gas stations are situated to the people who offload the product, every individual should face the punishment if found guilty of any wrongdoing or ignorance.
The atomic gas explosion comes after other explosions such as the La gas explosion and the June 3 explosion.
