Ghana Association of Bankers President Daniel Ato Kwamina Mensah laid to rest

The president of the Ghana Association of Bankers Daniel Ato Kwamina Mensah has been laid to rest following his passing. The burial ceremony occurred on Saturday, August 21, 2020, at the Forecourt of the State House, Accra.

Mr. Mensah, 66 years, served as the president of GAB from 1997 until his passing on July 17, 2020, at his residence. “DKM”, as he was affectionately known, was a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He also served on several boards including the West African Bankers Association and the Ghana Health Service Council.

The funeral was attended by family, friends, representatives of the Ghana Association of Bankers, the Bank of Ghana, National Banking College among others.

Daniel Ato Kwamina Mensah left behind his wife and three children as well as his mother.
