United Nations Univerity engages CBOD for its latest report on Stranded Assets and Sustainable Development in Africa

The United Nations University – Institute for Natural Resources in Africa (UNU-INRA) this week engaged the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) for contributions to its [UNU-INRA] latest report on Stranded Assets and Sustainable Development in Africa.

UNU-INRA launched an academic discussion paper on Africa’s development in the Age of Stranded Assets in 2019. This was with a special focus on the African context as well as voices and insights from Africa which UNU-INRA believes are often missing from the global conversation on resource management and climate.

The United Nations University’s team of researchers engaged the CBOD CEO Senyo Hosi in an interview via zoom to gain new insights to help in their current analysis for a better evaluation of Africa’s decarbonization pathways.

The full report will prominently feature the CBOD’s contribution to the UNU-INRA report which will be launched at the end of the month of August 2020.
