Tullow Ghana has announced that it will complete the planned maintenance works of the FPSO Kwame Nkrumah by tomorrow, 5 April.
According to the company, oil production and gas export from the Jubilee field will commence on April 9.
This will allow for final preparation of new off-take arrangements which involve the use of a dynamically-positioned shuttle tanker and a storage tanker.
The FPSO Kwame Nkrumah was shut down about two weeks ago to undergo mandatory inspection and maintenance works.
At the time, GRIDCo assured that the Volta River Authority (VRA), has purchased enough light crude oil to power some of the thermal plants within the Aboadze power enclave in the Western Region to avert a load shedding.
The Volta River Authority (VRA), also revealed that it had negotiated with Ivorian power producers for a possible supply of power.
