The Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) was pleased to welcome a delegation from the Comité Professionnel des Importateurs des Produits Pétroliers (CPI) of the Democratic Republic of Congo on 24th November 2025 during their professional exchange visit to Ghana.
Led by CBOD CEO, Dr. Patrick Ofori, the session provided an overview of Ghana’s downstream petroleum supply chain, covering the role of Bulk Import, Distribution and Export Companies (BIDECs), storage depot operations, regulatory structures, and key industry processes. The visit offered a platform for sharing best practices and deepening understanding of Ghana’s downstream operational framework.
This engagement highlights the growing importance of regional collaboration in strengthening Africa’s energy markets and fostering knowledge exchange across national borders.
