The Chamber for Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD), the Springfield Group and other organisations and personalities were honoured at the 3rd edition of the prestigious Ghana Energy Awards (2019). The CEO of CBOD Senyo Hosi won the Energy Business Leadership Award (male category), although he lost the CEO of The Year Award to Alhassan Tampuli of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
Springfield Group, overtook the Energy Commission, winning the award for Strategic Deal of the Year.
Some other notable awards were the Exemplary Leadership Award given to the Minister for Energy Peter Amewu, the Lifetime Achievement Award won by former CEO of the Volta River Authority (VRA) Erasmus Alexander Kalitsi and the Osagyefo Award which went to the Executive Director of the African Center for Energy Policy Ben Boakye.
