The Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD), in partnership with the Canadian Petroleum Training Institute (CPTI) and Stark Energy Ltd, has successfully concluded a 2-day Crude Oil Products Certification Training Programme in Accra.
Held at the Palms by Eagles Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn), the programme brought together depot members and industry professionals for a deep dive into critical topics shaping the petroleum downstream sector.
Over the two days, participants engaged in interactive sessions that explored leadership and ESG, refinery economics, compliance and safety, as well as automation and sustainability in terminal operations. These sessions provided participants with both global best practices and practical strategies tailored to Ghana’s downstream industry.
The Chamber remains committed to enhancing and building the capacity of our members to ensure sustainability, operational excellence, and alignment with international standards.
The enthusiastic participation and knowledge exchange throughout the programme reaffirm the importance of continuous professional development in strengthening Ghana’s petroleum downstream sector.
We extend our appreciation to the Canadian Petroleum Training Institute (CPTI), Stark Energy Ltd, Mr. Egyei-Mensah, CEO of Sage Distribution Limited, Quantum Terminals, the Palms by Eagles for hosting us, and all participants for making this training successful. Together, we are building a stronger, more sustainable future for Ghana’s energy industry.
